Women in Tech

As the world’s reliance on online systems increases, so too does the need for robust cybersecurity to prevent attacks. In just a few past weeks, two major US healthcare providers, as well as the online platform X (formerly Twitter), claimed they were hacked, affecting hundreds of thousands of users.

There are few industries as exciting to work in as technology. While not a single role in building a better future is gender-specific, women remain alarmingly underrepresented in an industry that is impacting every aspect of our existence.

On 13th March 2025, Electronic Specifier and #women4ew successfully hosted their joint Women in Tech Forum at embedded world, bringing together professionals from across the embedded systems community for an engaging and insightful event.
