At the heart of the DPS7-PCIe is a high-performance industrial PC, built around a robust motherboard with seven Gen4 x16 PCIe slots.
These slots can accommodate a combination of digitizers, GPUs for real-time processing, and SSDs for high-speed data storage.
The system supports peer-to-peer streaming, allowing digitizers to transfer data directly to GPUs and SSDs, minimizing the load on the host CPU.
Achieving precise synchronized sampling across multiple digitizers is crucial for many applications. The DPS7-PCIe ensures synchronization accuracy of +/- 10 picoseconds, thanks to its advanced daisy-chain synchronization capabilities.
Multiple DPS7-PCIe systems can be daisy-chained to expand the number of synchronized channels.
This data acquisition system supports system-level data transfer rates of up to 56 Gbytes/s, with a peak rate of up to 14 Gbytes/s per slot.
